Sharon was with the Jackson Hole Group as Chief Marketing Officer. Previously Ms. Winston was Lee Hecht Harrison’s Senior Vice President, Strategic Global Accounts, where she was responsible for directing overall strategies in marketing, sales and delivery of quality career services for several account management teams, including the largest project (top technology/computer manufacturer) undertaken in the career transitions industry.
Sharon is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of Project HIRED, a nonprofit organization that assists people with disabilities to find work. She has also served as Chairperson since 2008 for the Silicon Valley HR Symposium, an annual venue for over 500 HR professionals and business leaders to discuss issues and trends (funds raised are used for scholarship awards). Sharon is this year’s Chair of the YWCA annual luncheon, raising funds for the YMCA’s programs.
Sharon is an accomplished public speaker on workforce trends, workplace diversity, employee retention and engagement. She has addressed the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), Lockheed Martin, HP, Cisco, General Motors, and Stanford University.
